This Tom Chambers is the best heavy-duty metal hanging feeder and is perfect for feeding suet or fat pellets to your wild garden birds. A Note on Hygiene
Suet or fat balls are brilliant in winter but they can melt and become rancid in the hot seasons. Clean your feeders regularly using a gentle detergent and a mild bird safe disinfectant to stop the spread of disease and viruses. Ensure they are dry before refilling with fresh suet pellets. Keep food fresh and dry, removing any wet food to prevent the spread of bacteria and mould. Always ensure garden birds have plenty of fresh clean water for drinking and bathing.
